Aggresissive Marketing


A few weeks ago I uploaded a post stressing the need for the smoothie brand Innocent to get downright dirty in response to its 20% decline in sales.

Here is an example of an ad and brand that is not afraid to assert itself and mock its key competitor. One of Costa's ads even says, "Sorry Starbucks the people have voted".

Innocent could learn a thing or two.

Keep On Sipping

BBH’s advertisement for its’ “Keep Walking” campaign for Johnnie Walker is quite refreshing.

The visuals are fantastic and the narrative thought provoking. These two characteristics combine to create an advertisement that is stylishly cool and quietly confident.

The ad is essentially selling a lifestyle and an outlook on life, done is such a way so as to have the consumer admire the brand and its’ message.

I love the ad and it is certainly an ad made for the big screen. I would even go as far as to say it is quite epic.
